Went for €403 the baby GM + 2 Cravens including the auctioneer's commission. That's more than eBay sort of money I'd say, and that's assuming the loco is in running order. Prices have exploded of late but that's just mad.

Unsure if MM has any plans to do another run of 141/181/071's at any point in the future, but failing that, we can only hope that the IRM lads might do their own models of these locos at some point. The prices for these locos are only getting higher as time goes on, which clearly shows a demand for them.

I bid on some of the UK Stuff, nuts end bid price TBH. Could get them at a show for about a 10 each if you're lucky, especially the wagons.

€350 for the Princess too, not a bad price given you dont really now the condition of these yokes if they have been ran or not.

right back to planes TV coverage of Duxford flying days.

Seems the Chap selling them was a bit of a recluse. Artist but never sold anything, His house sold for 2.5 million some time ago.

Can I ask again that names and contact numbers are printed in BLOCK CAPITALS please
This is a prerequisite for contact tracing!
It is very obvious that some of you guys did not receive a Christian Brother education!

Any self respecting CB English teacher would have pulled you up for using ‘can’ rather than ‘may’……😉

WTT/TT's?
Please explain

Cheers

WWT is short for Working Timetable,  and TT is just Timetable,

The WTT is/was issued to rail staff and had more information, ie, head codes, type of train etc than the ordinary public timetable.

This year's flyer is sporting the 'Hibernia' in grey livery, one of the first locos to run on the Dublin & Kingstown Railway in 1834.

Happy New Year.
