One of the regular lads who attend the Bray show bought a 1960's Hammant & Morgan catalogue

They were the Rolls Royce of the controller world back in the day

It also contained a 1661 pricelist and a list of suppliers for the "British Isles"

Low and behold there was Dublin listed with 3 suppliers

Heleys, spelt incorrectly, of Dame St

M Ascough of Lower Leeson St

And the bould Cyril L. Fry of Churchtown Rd

I never knew he was a retailer, I wonder what else he sold?

Blast - I missed Bray today! Thought it was next weekend and was planing to go, my mistake. Great idea for new times.

You ain't alone in that one Noel, for some unknown reason I was expecting a reminder of that also, even today!! Only waking up to that now!! & the new time schedule is better for me, especially on Sunday's !!!!!!

Hi All

Sean is in the shop for a lower drive rod linkage replacement, if the prelims went OK today the procedure should have happened by now and he should be on the way to the steaming shed!

These linkages can be tricky, so some careful running in is required- so we will not see Gauge N at the Fair for possibly 2 months....

Speedy recovery Sean

Hi All

I'm sure you will be glad to hear Gauge-N-Sean had a successful time in the shop, and is out on the rails running in the new linkage. All is going well for recovery and will soon be notched to full throttle....

Excellent news. Looking forward to seeing Sean out and about again!
