    Noticed some black roofed Mk 3's in his Westport folder
    Looks like the Restaurant or Genny behind the 201 has a black roof also
    Any other Black roofed pics out there?

    I think there was one in Model Rail a few years back when they did an article on the IE mk3's, as far as I can remember anyway

    Dave they are actually a mid to dark grey and would only have been applied to the first class coaches. The EGV may look like it has a black roof but it's dirt and a trick of the light. Here's a pic of a first in Waterford in 2002 with a grey roof.
