Thread: Video Website Updates

  1. #11
Finally, after a 10 hour upload and some tech issues which messed up the end of the video (including 088 leaving Kildare) here it is. Plenty of variety.

    Clondalkin/Fonthill

    074 - Limerick - Dublin Wagon Transfer (?)
    234 - Dublin - Cork
    ICR
    217 - Northwall - Ballina Liner

    Kildare

    215 - Ballina - Northwall Liner
217 - Northwall - Ballina Liner (Was looped at Sallins)
    219 - Cork - Dublin
074 - Wagon Transfer Inchicore to Limerick
    721 Inspection Car
    ICR
    223 - Dublin - Cork
Ex Works 088 - Waterford - Ballina arrives and runs around its train
    219 - Dublin - Cork

Will try to upload the missing footage in a separate video. In the meantime, enjoy!

And just a random ICR passing Gowran level crossing Co. Kilkenny

I have more of this weeks freight workings on my channel but the timber trains were a no show every day except for this morning.

Nice vid. Wish I had bought a ticket for this run but there's always next time.

Can anyone tell me why a dead 071 was towed from Dublin to Cork and back? Doesn't make much sense to me. Was it just for the boasting of having 2 071s up top?

A second loco was required to shunt at Middleton and Cobh as there are no run around facilities in both these stations. I suppose they could have used the extra 201 in Cork instead but which was better from an enthusiast point of view?
