  • Biography
I model Irish Railways CIE & GNRI From 1960's to 1990's.Some are kits & others are bought and kitbashed. some are made from scratch. All rolling stock is wheathered which i think makes all the difference & realistic.I love to see other peoples work & i know how many hours it takes, but it's worth it.

  1. Great work, I must get my own done.
  2. Beautiful work they look great. Looking forward to getting my Hattons 6 wheelers, they will go well with my 00 Works J15.
  3. Is the Studio Scale Models website still running? I have tried but just get error code.
  4. The M1 was built over this tunnel beside Blacks Road. I grew up in the street in the background and spent a lot of time around the pine trees area where we had a long rope swing tied to a tree and I have been in this tunnel sometimes.
  5. Well maybe not a truck load, but lots.
  6. DANA Tanktainer. MSC mustered 40 ft. BLS 20 ft as above. And 45ft containers. That should keep you busy for a while.
  7. Thanks guys, I put this post in the wrong place, so I will post it again in my workbench thread. There might be a slight sag in the middle caused by me gluing a new floor on and didn't notice the bend until it was to late.
  8. This is a NIR Flat bogie wagon to transport rail with two small cranes to lift the rails on & off the wagon. made from an old Hornby car transporter wagon I have had for many years. A new floor and sanctions added and the 2 cranes are hand made. Plus a little CIE 4 wheel flat wagon (Hot topic) made from bits of wagon kits.
  9. Very nice and neat, no messy soldering.
  10. Great pictures especially the first one. And a nice looking layout, love the ballast.
  11. Very nice, just the right amount. You might get a wash plant for Christmas.
