Brought the Hornby R2130 Irish loco (year 2000-01) from ex collector in England. Now add to my collector. Never been run as new.

NEC show is back!

I have look at two version of R768. Pat Hammond the story of rovex Vol.3 wrote 'Two different versions of the model have been reported and this could be accounted for by their having been made in two batches, one of 300 sole models in 1977 and the others in sets in 1981. One has the original cast metal motor bogie and black buffer beams while the other has the Ringfield motor bogie and red buffer beams.' I found one unboxed Ringfield motor version. Locomotive operation manual date 1980 showing R768 CIE, also same model R335 but in Two tone green livery.
