  7. 218 is converted to run on HVO and looks well with all the new decals applied to the bodysides. Would make a good candidate for any future Murphy Models releases of 201's.
  8. The email address given for irrsdrawings appears to be incorrect or doesn't illicit a response as have tried emailing it numerous times, but no reply was ever received.
  9. It's the locomotive bit that catches my interest. As MM recently released the 121's and with more 141's/181's due for release, wouldn't make sense for it to be them due to market size. From the most popular locomotive classes of the CIE era, that leaves C Class, 071's or current 201's or steam. Any hints as to whether the plans are for steam or diesel locomotives? An IRM Class 66 spec 071 or current day 201 Class would be most welcome. The MM 071's and 201's were excellent models when first released and still are very good models, but with current model making techniques leading to much more refined and detailed models, an updated IRM spec version of either type would be epic to say the least. Considering Accurascale bought the already excellent Hattons 66 tooling and further refined it, not beyond the realms of possibity for IRM to do the same with the MM 071 and/or 201 toolings.
  10. The interior white plastic packaging on the MM 201's is no way near up to the job for postage, and many 201's have arrived to me over the years with front end damage after bursting through the white inner plastic during transit. Some retailers reinforce this white inner plastic with bubble wrap or hard foam to counteract it's weak nature.
  11. Was half expecting Accurascale to also announce a 60 to be honest.
  12. Currently holding off ordering some of the new Accurascale 66's and the Cavalex 60's to see if IRM will announce an updated 071 or 201.
